The Louisiana Language Access Conference, “Securing Language Access Through Adversity: Building Resilient Communities” will be held on Wednesday, July 21 and Thursday, July 22, 2021 – 8:30AM to 2:45PM CT the conference will be held virtually due to pandemic restrictions. This conference will address our three areas of focus in justice, education, and healthcare with presentation dedicated with topics for advocates, community members, service & healthcare providers, educators, administrators, policy makers and interpreters/translators. It will provide for an educational opportunity for all attendees to become advocate across all three area. It is one of the best opportunities to network other language justice advocates, language accessibility experts and like-minded individuals focused addressing barriers for the LEP community. This conference is open to any interested party. Interpretation and closed captioning will available. All sessions are held on Central Time.
The cost of conference registration is $50.00 and registration is required to attend the conference. Continuing Educational Units (CEUs, CMEs, CLEs) for several professions represented in each area of focus will be available at a cost of $75.00 (includes the registration and CEU). We anticipate your full commitment and participation to the entire scheduled time of this conference to be able to have the full benefits.
